The Kano State Police Command has recovered a stolen ash-colored vehicle and reunited it with its rightful owner, Dr. Yusuf Samuel Shaho of Zaria City, Kaduna State, while apprehending the suspect behind the theft.

The Anti-Car Theft Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) recovered the vehicle on December 28, 2024, after it was reportedly abandoned. Swift investigative efforts led to the arrest of the prime suspect, 40-year-old Bala Sani of Funtua Local Government Area, Katsina State.

Dr. Yusuf presented proof of ownership during a formal handover ceremony at the Police Public Relations Office in Kano. The Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, ordered the return of the vehicle and commended the Anti-Car Theft Unit for their efficiency in recovering the stolen property.
