Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has refused to be drawn into the ongoing feud between Burna Boy and Speed Darlington, emphasizing his neutrality despite his personal connections with the Grammy-winning artist.

During a recent Instagram live session, Seun Kuti addressed the controversy surrounding Speed Darlington’s allegations against Burna Boy, claiming the latter had an illicit relationship with American music mogul Diddy to secure a Grammy. Kuti dismissed the saga, saying, “Because I collected a diamond from Burna Boy doesn’t mean I’m his adviser.”

He further highlighted Diddy’s role in Speed Darlington’s rise to fame, pointing out that the music executive reposted Darlington’s hit track Bangdadang, propelling it to popularity. “Diddy never posted any of my songs, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s. That’s how Bangdadang became popular,” Kuti stated.
