Popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has joined the growing calls for the release of rapper Speed Darlington, who has been detained for 45 days following allegations against Burna Boy. Darlington had accused Burna Boy of engaging in an illicit relationship with American music executive Diddy to secure a Grammy win, a claim that led to his controversial arrest.

Despite a court order for Darlington’s release, he remains in detention, sparking widespread debate and concern across social media platforms. Adding his voice to the clamor, Bobrisky appealed directly to Burna Boy via Instagram, urging the artist to forgive and facilitate Darlington’s release, citing the harsh conditions of prison life.

“Pls Burna Boy, forgive Speed [Darlington]. Pls, prison is not a nice place. I don’t think he has money for a VIP section cos it’s expensive,” Bobrisky wrote on his Instagram Story, emphasizing that 45 days was sufficient punishment for the rapper.

Bobrisky’s comments have reignited discussions about the ongoing detention, with fans and observers urging Burna Boy to show clemency. The incident has highlighted broader concerns over the treatment of individuals within the entertainment industry and the influence of public figures in legal matters.

Speed Darlington’s arrest continues to draw mixed reactions online, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding his detention and the delay in enforcing the court’s directive for his release.
