Popular gospel singer Moses Bliss has called on Nigerians to stop sharing fake photos purported to be of his newborn child. Taking to Facebook on January 14, 2025, the artist clarified that neither he nor his wife, Marie, has revealed their baby’s face since welcoming their first child on January 10, 2025.
The singer expressed gratitude for the love and congratulations pouring in since the announcement but urged fans to refrain from spreading images falsely attributed to his family. He also cautioned against the use of AI-generated photos.
“Please stop circulating other people’s baby pictures as ours. We appreciate the love, but let’s do the right thing. We have not posted our child. Let’s stop the AI images too,” Moses Bliss wrote.
Bliss revealed that he has been inundated with baby pictures from various sources worldwide, as many mistakenly believe them to be of his child. He appealed to fans to respect his family’s privacy and wait for an official reveal.
The singer and his wife, Marie, have become a beloved couple in the gospel music community, with fans celebrating their milestone. However, Bliss emphasized the importance of accuracy and respect in celebrating this joyous occasion.
This plea comes amid a growing trend of AI-generated and misattributed content, raising awareness about the need for digital responsibility.
