Nigerian singer Spyro has revealed that he is facing blackmail threats over an alleged sex tape and a claim that a woman is pregnant for him.
Taking to his Instagram story on Tuesday, the Who’s Your Guy crooner accused unnamed religious figures of hiding behind faith to cover up deceptive and manipulative actions.
“Don’t be deceived, the biggest scams and liars are the ones at the top of religious ladders,” Spyro wrote.
“They perpetrate evil, quote holy books to justify their wrongs, and then use emotional games and threats. The deception is on another level.”
He further claimed that the blackmail attempt began after he called out an individual online for wrongdoing, only to receive threat messages the next day.
“After I confronted someone for doing me wrong, the next thing, they started confessing scriptures. Then came threats of releasing my sex tape and claims of a girl being pregnant for me.”
Despite the intimidation, Spyro has not backed down, maintaining his stance against manipulation and deceit in certain religious circles.
