Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has called on his teammates to take the positives from their 2-0 defeat against Arsenal and focus on their next Premier League fixture against Brentford.
The Foxes put up a resilient performance at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, holding the Gunners at bay until the final seven minutes when they conceded twice. Despite the loss, Ndidi believes the team showed encouraging signs that they must carry into upcoming games.
“It’s just something that we need to take into the next one. Everyone is in it, and we know the position that we are in at the moment,” the Nigerian international told the club’s official website.
“We did well, to be honest, playing against a tough team. I think it’s just that we have to take the positives forward to the next game.”
Leicester, currently battling to regain momentum in the league, will now shift focus to their crucial clash against Brentford as they aim to climb up the table.
