In a harrowing incident that has left the Ado-Ekiti community in shock, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Caleb and his wife, Tate, were found dead following a violent domestic dispute on Tuesday morning. The altercation, which took place in their residence along Igirigiri Road, escalated fatally after accusations of infidelity.

According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation turned deadly when Tate allegedly severed her husband’s manhood with a knife. In a desperate and retaliatory act, the grievously injured ASP Caleb reportedly attacked his wife with a machete, inflicting fatal wounds to her head and face. The Ekiti State Police Command has initiated an investigation into the tragic event. Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident, stating, “We received a report of a couple found dead in their residence.
