A horrifying incident unfolded at the Nkpor Market Flyover in Anambra State on Tuesday night, where three friends were ambushed by suspected kidnappers. The victims, identified as Obyno, Megabyte, and Eriri Ego, were reportedly traveling from Enugu to Anambra when they were double-crossed by armed men at the bypass bridge.

In a desperate attempt to escape, Obyno and Eriri Ego, unaware of the height of the flyover, jumped off the bridge to evade capture. Tragically, they landed headfirst on the tarred road below and died instantly. Meanwhile, their third companion, Megabyte, who did not attempt to flee, was abducted, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Eyewitnesses at the scene discovered the abandoned vehicle belonging to the victims, fueling concerns about rising insecurity in the region. Authorities have yet to confirm any ransom demands or details about the kidnappers.
