A major breakthrough in Ebonyi State’s fight against crime unfolded as the police arrested a man, Ovuta Chigozie, found in possession of two human skulls and three locally made firearms. The suspect, a resident of Okoffia community in Ezza South Local Government Area, reportedly confessed that the skulls were given to him for preparing a spiritual concoction.

Authorities have launched a manhunt for the individuals linked to the gruesome discovery, as investigations into ritualistic activities in the region intensify.

In a separate operation, police operatives tracking a stolen tricycle uncovered a syndicate involved in repainting stolen vehicles from neighboring states to evade detection. The operation led to the arrest of four suspects: Nweke Chukwudi, Nwankwo Obinna, John Abba, and Uche Abba.
