A young woman identified as Adija, a graduate of Lagos State University (LASU), has been found dead in her boyfriend’s apartment in Meiran, Lagos State, sparking a police manhunt for the suspect, who has since fled.

The tragic incident occurred on February 26, after Adija reportedly visited her boyfriend following his request. When her family couldn’t reach her by phone the next day, they went to his residence, only to find the door locked. After forcing their way in, they were met with a devastating sight—her lifeless body covered with a duvet on the bed.

According to eyewitness accounts, the couple had been in a toxic relationship since her 100-level days, with frequent fights that neighbors had grown accustomed to. One witness revealed that they heard her voice during an argument the night before, but dismissed it as another routine dispute—not knowing it would end in tragedy.
