Nigeria’s U-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, will commence their final phase of preparations for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Katsina State, as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) secures sponsorship from the Katsina State Government for their training camp.

Under the guidance of head coach Aliyu Zubairu, the squad has been sharpening their form, recently engaging in two international friendlies against Côte d’Ivoire. They secured a 2-0 victory in the first match but suffered a 2-0 defeat in the return leg.
