A disturbing video has surfaced online showing a lecturer at Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State, physically assaulting a male student in front of his classmates.

The footage captures the moment students stand around the lecturer when one of the student that was late for the lecture sneaks in. The lecturer reacts aggressively, slapping the student and delivering a forceful leg kick, causing him to fall hard onto the concrete floor.

As the student struggles to recover, he tries to explain that he had a toothache, which led to his coming late, the lecturer ignores his plea and continues scolding him, while other students plead on his behalf, saying, “Sorry sir.”
