A lecturer at the Department of Art & Design, Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, has issued a formal apology after admitting to bullying and intimidating a student, Mr. Chidera. The apology, addressed directly to the student, acknowledges the lecturer’s inappropriate behavior and pledges a commitment to change.

In a letter signed by the lecturer, Ifeanyichukwu, he admitted that his actions were unprofessional and caused undue distress to the student. He expressed deep regret for failing to provide a safe and supportive learning environment, stating, “I take full responsibility for my actions and I am truly sorry for the pain and suffering I caused you.”

The letter further assured Chidera that efforts would be made to prevent such incidents in the future. The lecturer requested a meeting with the student to discuss ways to make amends and offer any necessary support.
