After shelving the release of her single, ‘Are You Ready’ for the abducted Chibok girls, singer Floxy is set to move on with her musical career as she gears up to performed the single for the first time at the second edition of MC Ichie’s Comedy Crusade in Enugu State.

The event which as usual will be taking a church format, has comedian, Dauda as the  star artiste. The organizers have declared that the event will be one its kind in the region, having released that it will be taking place at Hilton Park Hotel and Resort, 65 Asuke Drive Near Nike Lake, Nike Enugu state on Sunday, 29th June 2014. Red carpet kicks off by 6:00pm with an after party at Ecstasy Nite Club.
With Bishop Dauda as a guest minister, Archbishop Ichie retains the title of the host minister while Bishop Prof. Bannana Mouth, Snr Pastor Zanzino, Pastor T-boy, Pastor Overall, Evangelist God4bid and British Pastors are among the comedians expected to feature at the event.
Choristers for the day are Acharaman, Vanpee, Regis, Rydders, Money’Making, Collenshy, Sexy Texxy, Floxy while Choir masters for the day are Dj koolboi (Solid FM/Ecstasy Nite Club), Dj Kea fingers(Host Dj) and Dj Yung Greg(Guest Dj).
Rev. Mama T [Solid fm Enugu], Pastor OminiMini [Zanders FM Owerri], Apostle Super Sam [Solid fm Enugu] and on the list of Special Ministers while the Church dancer, Eva were also listed to make appearances at the event.
Month after shelving the release of the single ‘Are You Ready’, which many have seen as a turning point in her career, Floxy has come open to say she is ready to move on.
“I have already done, ‘Crisis’ with my brother KozyG and that song is another way we did lend our voice to world peace.
Boko Haram is still abducting and bombing and we had hoped that something would have been done by now. We will just move on with our lives, putting everything in the hands of God because He alone can protect us.
Maybe sometime soon depending on when my management decides, the single will get out there for the public to download” She said.
Although ‘Are you ready’ has not been released to the public, it has already gained much airplay on some radio stations and her fans are reacting positively to it.
