The people of Ikeduru Local Government Area has frowned at the purported suspension of their representative at the State House of Assembly Barr Dr Uche Oguwuike by the Speaker Hon Acho Ihim.

Ikeduru people who spoke through the secretary of an umbrella known as IKE IKEDURU, Dr Joe Chibundu said that they have it on good authority that the said suspension was predicated on the aftermath of the internal wrangling and division in the APC in Imo State which snowballed in the shameful attack of duly elected and accredited Imo delegates at the National Congress of the party in Abuja by suspected agents of Imo State government.

Ike Ikeduru maintained that, “we make bold to say that the division in APC has nothing to do with Dr Oguwuike let alone his legislative activities in the Imo State House of Assembly”.

Insisting that the continued delay in recalling Dr Oguwuike will not only be a violation of his fundamental human right as guaranteed by the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigerian but a denial of Ikeduru constituents their inalienable right of representation.
