…Some parts of her body missing

The people of Umunnachi village in Nkwerre LGA of Imo State have been thrown into confusion and mourning as a 17 year old girl, Chigekwurum Nwokeofor was recently raped to death.
Miss Nwokafor until her sudden death was residing with her aunt and uncle, Sir D.O. Onuoha as Umunnachi village.

Sources from the village informed that the deceased was abducted by yet to be identified gang of criminals on the evening of Sunday, August 19, 2012, in a farm very close to her residence.
After the deceased could not return home for about nine days, the people of the village embarked on a search but to the greatest dismay of everybody in the community, her decompsong body was discovered but with most sensitive parts missing.
The remains of the deceased was later discovered at the place where she was abducted nine days earlier.
The police who had earlier been informed about the incident, arrived the village and during the investigations found out that the 17 year old girl was raped to death by her abductors even as they affirmed that Miss Nwokafor was equally tortured before she died. The homicide department of the Nigerian police force it was gathered had taken over the investigation to unravel the circumstance that led to the untimely death of the poor girl and those involved in the dastardly act. Her remains have since been deposited at a nearby mortuary in the area.
But the annoying aspect of the entire scenario was that one of the suspects of the barbaric act and an alleged notorious criminal in the area, one Izuchukwu Mbabie, has escaped from the custody of the vigilance group after he was arrested.
Meanwhile, people of the community have called on the police force to bring the pepetrators of the dastard act to book.
The people of the community have promised the police of all the necessary help to ensure that the hoodlum(s) who masterminded the untimely death of the innocent girl do not go scot free.
