Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has appointed Independence Ogulewe and Ugochukwu Nzekwe as aides.
Hon Ogulewe who represented Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives is now the Special Adviser to the governor on Federal Projects.
Hon. Nzekwe is the Special Adviser to the governor on Mobilization. He represented Nkwerre Constituency twice in the State House of Assembly.
The state secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Austin Chilakpu is now the Special Assistant to the governor on Labour Matters.
Former Transition Committee Chairman of Orsu Local Government Area, Mrs. Stella Odimegwu has been appointed the Senior Special Assistant on Orlu Mayoral Affairs.
She replaces Chief Uche Mbanaso who is now the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry.
Dr. Ngozi Chukwukere is now in charge of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), replacing Dr. Charles Onuoha who is now Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development.
Ex-General Manager of Environmental Transformation Commission (ENTRACO), Mr. Sunny Chiadi is now the Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties.
Nkiru Silvanus is returning to the state as Special Assistant on Public Affairs, while Lisa Asugha will move to Lagos as Liaison Officer.
Most of the aides retained their positions.
Meanwhile, as the name of the Chief Comedian Uche Ugbuagu went missing on the list, a reliable source from government house Owerri comfirmed that any name that is not there means the person has been fired,
