In what will be seen as a strategic move to remain relevant in the 2019 general election, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has switched to Action Alliance (AA) after it was previously reported that he would flying the flag Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) in the upcoming election.

Uche Nwosu who lost out to Sen. Hope Uzodinma at the All Progressives Congress’ dramatic primaries moved on with his career, having been taunted as the son-in-law of the governor.

Just yesterday, his supporters on the social media made it known that they have moved to Action Alliance (AA) which also has the same initials as their campaign structure ‘Agburu Anyi’.

Reports have it that negotiation with the DPP broke down because they failed to agree to the total handover of the party to the ‘Rescue Mission’ structure as well as accommodating of all candidates who lost out at the APC primaries in their setup.

As other unsuccessful aspirants will be joining Uche Nwosu to AA, the likes of Deac. Chike Okafor, Hon. Ugonna Uzuruigbo and Prof. Nnamdi Obiaraeri will be missing out as the trio will remain in APC with Governor Rochas Okorocha.

Another source has it that AA became the most strategic choice as it will be the first party on the INEC ballot paper and such will make campaigning easy for Uche Nwosu and his men.
