Gospel singer, Maureen Onyekachi Ihekuna aka Maureen Sings has revealed that she does not regret going into full time gospel music.
Maureen said this in a chat with www.otowngist.com in Owerri when she was asked if she is regretting delving into fulltime music. According to the Plant Science and Bio Technology graduate, music is a gift from God and using it to bless the name of God is a huge privilege.

She said, “So many people have the gift but are using it the other way round. If I have it and decide to use it for God, it is a dream come through for me because this is what I have always wanted to do.
It is difficult in a country like Nigeria because so many people are switching from gospel music to secular music, but the truth still remains that when you have the calling, God will surely give you the grace to remain steadfast in the ministry. I have chosen what I want to do and it is left for others to do same. Everyday I pray to God for the grace to carry on, write more songs according to his inspirations and live my life in a way that pleases him.” She said.
Maureen Sings, last year released the video of her hit single ‘Eze Mo’, and so far, she is happy with the response it has received.
