Rapper F2, is counting his blessings having been nominated in the Imo Fashion Entertainment Awards after releasing his maiden video.
The Imo State born rapper, who prefers Igbo lyrics to others could not express his joy, especially when he learnt that people were responding well to the video which has been marked as one of the best videos by an Imo State based artiste in 2015.
With the video released this month, F2 recounted his struggles through the journey of music, saying that it is good to be elevating even though the destination is still far.
“We all want to make it to the top and I am not an exception. I want to be the best in what I do and I am stopping at nothing, till I see what seems to be the finish line, even though there is nothing like it in music business.
“I want to do music for the rest of my life, I want to make hits and I want to touch lives as well as inspire people” He said while speaking to www.otowngist.com on the release of the video of the single ‘Rap Gyration’.
On the award nomination, he said “I don’t know what to say, but it is a great thing for me and I’m happy that people are really appreciating what I am doing”
F2 got nominated under the Best Upcoming Artiste category and he said “I want to win it. When I look at the list of nominees, I see only me. I see me holding the award, that’s all”
The category also has female rapper Treasure Gold and other artistes whom F2 must beat with votes from fans if he wants to win the award.
“I know my fans, friends and family have been supportive all along, but this is another time I need them. We can win this together and all I need is just for them to go vote for me”
