To ensure the trade relationship between Nigeria and the Republic of South Korea is sustained, Trade Nigeria has revealed that Nigeria – Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be opened in Seoul during the Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum in 2020.

The move according to the Trade Nigeria CEO is championed in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment; Trade and Investment department of Federal Ministry of Foreign affairs, Nigeria Embassy in Korea and Korea embassy in Nigeria.

Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George revealed that setting up Nigeria – Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul, will be a permanent legacy for both countries and also reflect the confidence both nations have on each other in the area of trade and investment especially.

“This will be a permanent legacy for Nigeria and South Korea”, he said, adding that, “it will create a platform that will be charged with fashioning out the best ways to boost trade and investment between Nigeria and Korea and this will be done through properly conducted researches”

The unveiling of the Nigeria – Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum scheduled to hold from January 20 to 25 2020 will also witness speeches from three Nigerian business moguls, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola and Tony Elumelu as well as a star performance by afro-pop diva, Tiwa Savage during a Commerce meet Culture Exchange and business dinner at the event.

Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum is part of the Nigeria – Asia Business and Economic Forum with more coming up in other countries in 2020. Proposed dates are: China – February 17 to 28, 2020; Japan – April 23 to 30, 2020; Vietnam – June 25 – 30, 2020 and Taiwan – July 26 to 29, 2020.
