Former afropop singer, Madukwe Vivian Chinaza aka Vivada, has denounced secular music, adding that her next single coming up on February 14, 2020 will be of the gospel genre.

speaking to www.otowngist.com, Vivada who has now changed her stage name to Viv-Ada  said secular music never got her fulfilled and she was previously singing for the love of music and nothing more.

“I realized I wasn’t fulfilling my purpose to earth… So it’s time to do that…now I’m not singing because I love to but I’m singing to fulfill Christ purpose for gracing me with such an amazing talent as this” she said.

She further revealed that after a  break from music to think things through, she will be making her gispel debut on February 14, 2014 with a single titled ‘Rising’.

“It was a though time to think things through for me, knowing that some fans would be disappointed, but I feel it is the best thing for me and with Jesus Christ on my side, it will no longer be about having fans, but winning souls for Him”

On the new single ‘Rising’ which is produced by Somik, Viv-Ada  said; “The song is a reminder of who you really are as a child of God.. It says you rise and don’t fall… You’re a victor you never fail… so much lines of encouragement… All these will happen only at the mention of the name Jesus…its our tool as a Christian” she said.
