Dr. Charles Chibuikem Onyirimba, has emerged the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, for Okigwe senate bye election.
Onyirimba was sole aspirant in the contest.
A statement sent to INNONEWS by Director General, Imo APGA New Media, Comrade Chilagorom Ifeanyi reads:
“Imo State chapter of APGA wishes to inform the public that Atty Dr. Charles Chibuikem Onyirimba (Onwa) has emerged the candidate of the party at the just concluded primary election.
“APGA as a peaceful and united family therefore, congratulates Dr. Onyirimba for his emergence and wishes him a victorious outing come 31st October, 2020.
“We commend the security agencies, INEC, media, and all party members, especially State Working Committee and APGA faithfuls in Okigwe Zone for a peaceful conduct and assure that the party shall continue to act in accordance with democratic norms and party rules in carrying out its activities at Local Government, State and Federal Levels.
