He therefore called on parents especially the women to surpass their unbeaten record in ensuring that their children join their counterparts at every specified period to take their routine immunization to avoid “had I known”.

Prince Eze Madumere emphasized the need not to give room for deadly diseases like polio meningitis, measles, tetanus and other deadly diseases to either cause avoidable deaths or render the children incapacitated. He reminded them how unhappy those children will feel on realizing that such ailments are preventable after all especially when they are free.

He therefore implored parents to be religious about their children’s routine immunization schedules while calling on husbands to pay more attention to this onerous task of safe-guiding the children from avoidable ravages of diseases reminding them that the children are tomorrow’s leaders.
