A former member of Imo State House of Assembly, Barr. Emma .C. Onumajuru has opined that Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha should be held responsible for the stagnated Okigwe zone senatorial re-run election.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, recently, he stated that a similar thing happened in Oguta State Constituency during Owelle Okorocha’s first tenure and he allowed it to fizzle out like that and that is what Okorocha wants to do in Okigwe zone.
APC Chieftain in Ihitte Uboma L.G.A remarked that, Owelle Okorocha wants to run for Senate in 2019 and Senator Hope Uzodinma for Governorship and the governor does not want Senator Athan Achonu or Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu to be a senior ranking member to him, it is without prejudice to what he has with Senator Athan Achonu, he may want a pound of flesh.
On the APC change mantra and electoral promises to the electorate, the former Chairman, Consumer Protection Council (CPC), Imo State, remarked that nothing will happen in Imo State, something may happen at the Federal level.
On job creation, he said the governor is playing to the gallery “Are you a new man in Jerusalem who does not know that Jesus Christ is dead, the taste of the pudding is in the eating, I am yet to see the changes in Imo state and at the Federal level, we are suffering” he maintained.
On Ihitte Uboma State Constituency, Barr. Onumajuru queried “do we have a member in Imo House of Assembly? The change mantra is just intended to rob Peter to pay Paul, it is a mere political ‘sortilege’.
“He who fights and runs away, runs to fight another day”, the erudite lawyer asserted.
