Despite the feud he had with his mother during his childhood which he projected on his earlier records, the rapper is making his ‘Mom’s Spaghetti’ a reality with a new concept restaurant in his hometown, Detroit, Dailymail reports.

The 48-year-old rapper delighted fans as he showed up to serve patrons in person and snap selfies at the restaurant.

The restaurant’s name is a reference to lyrics from his 2002 hit track, Lose Yourself which is the theme song from his film 8 Mile; not his actual mom’s name, Debbie Nelson, with whom he has had a troubled relationship and locked horns in legal battles.

His fans took to Instagram, sharing selfies they took with the rapper as he served them food on Tuesday evening.
