Cristiano Ronaldo has warned of overconfidence ahead of Manchester United’s trip to Atalanta for their second meeting of the Champions League.

Ronaldo scored a late winner when the two met last month, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side staging a second-half comeback to turn a two-goal deficit on its head as Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire paved a way for the turnaround.

“Back to Italy, a country that welcomed me and my family so well, an amazing place that will be forever in my heart,” Ronaldo said in a post on Instagram.
