Soon, it will be difficult to introduce any article on Deejay Saquo’s Star Nite because the excitement keeps building up with a new dimension for every edition that I don’t usually know how to get into it.
With the 4th edition showing that the event has come to stay, I just wonder what point the 5th has to prove as we get closer to the D-Day, Friday June 28, 2013.
The event will be officially welcoming back a lady to Valencia Lounge and Resort in the person of Floxy, while on the guest artiste list are Ruffcoin Nwa Aba and Runtown.
With the kind of surprise pulled by the artistes on the last edition, more will be expected from Naut B, 3pple E, Aimzy, Dtwins, Icz Money, Leeroy and Swimpy.
Although the attention is mostly on the artistes, dancers like Terminator and Phoneix Boiz will have to tell the crowd that they are too big to be seen as side attractions while Djs Seanpaul, Wizzy E and Tempex will see that the well of music at the event never goes dry.
MC X replaces MC F as the anchor and we hope the rhyme in their names will resonate the wonderful experience of the previous edition to this one.
Deejay Saquo is still maintaining that the event will keep growing from strength to strength, insisting that quality will remain the watch word for every input and performance at the event.
He also stated as usual that they are working to see that the excellence of the previous edition is improved on for a better experience for both artistes and fans at the event.
Star Nite starts by 7:00 PM with Red Carpet while the main event starts proper by 9:00 PM
