Businessman Aliko Dangote has narrated how his younger brother Sani Dangote died in a Hospital in Miami American
Dangote narrated details of his brother’s passing during a visit by the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmed Bola Ahmad Tunubu who was on a condolence visit to the family.
Dangote said doctors informed his family that Sani was going to die and that he and members of their family were present when the doctors announced that Sani would pass within the hour.
He added that they watched as the life-support machine went down, ticking out the time as Sani gave up the ghost.
He said, “I was there myself, Sani’s mother and some of his other brothers, we were all there, they told us that in an hour he would die”.
Dangote said the death of his brother came as a great lesson to him and that one has to do good in life as death is certainly inevitable and can come anytime.
Bola Ahmad Tunubu while condoling the family said ”money cannot buy life ” and if money can buy life one would have used everything he has for his life to be spared”.
Tunubu said the death of Sani was not for the Dangote family alone because it affects all of his friends and close associates.
Meanwhile, a crowd of supporters and some All Progressive Congress (APC) members were on hand to welcome the National Leader of the party to Kano.
Sani died in a United States of America (USA) hospital, last Sunday, after battling a cancer-related ailment, his remains was brought to Kano and buried at the family cemetery last Tuesday.
Since then, Kano has been playing host to high-profile politicians, businessmen and technocrats who have trooped to the state to register their condolence to Dangote and his family.
