Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has, on Wednesday, signed the 2022 appropriation bill into law.

The signing of the budget comes less than 24 hours after its passage by the state House of Assembly.

DAILY POST had reported that Governor Badaru had on 10th November 2021, presented the sum of N177,795,588 appropriation bill to the state House of Assembly for the 2022 fiscal year.

The Governor, however, commended the legislature for the speedy passage of the bill for the service of the state.

He assured the full implementation of the budget from January to December 2022.

He, therefore, charged the commissioners, heads of MDAs and agencies to start working for the implementation of the budget.
