Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has identified midfielder, N’Golo Kante as the Blues player that makes the difference in his team.

Tuchel described Kante as a very special player, adding that the France international has an outstanding quality that helps Chelsea.

The German said this ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Boxing Day.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Aston Villa clash, Tuchel said, “N’Golo convinced me that he prefers to be on the bench and play some minutes instead of a full rest.

“We agreed on that in discussion with the play but in checking all his data for the last weeks. He trained light for 20-25 minutes and I’ve praised him so many times. Of course, he makes the difference because he’s a very very special player.

Kante has been impressive for Chelsea since joining the west London club from Leicester City in 2016.
