Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma has hailed security agents for their patriotic service which ensured a peaceful Christmas celebration in the state
Governor Uzodinma who worshiped at the Assumpta Cathedra Owerril as part of the activities lined up for the 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in honor of our fallen Heroes, encouraged the armed forces to sustain the secured atmosphere for Imolites to go about their legitimate businesses without fear of molestation.
“I commended our security agencies on their patriotic service to the nation and our dear State in particular, which ensured a peaceful Christmas celebration. On this note, I encouraged our armed forces to sustain the secured atmosphere for Imolites to go about their legitimate businesses without fear or molestation” Gov. Uzodinma said.
He called on Imolites to be understanding, adding that every government policy and decision may not be appealing at first but the end result will be beneficial to everyone.
“I will continue to discourage crimes and and criminality by those who are illegally armed in our State and I will stop at nothing in recovering our State from the challenges confronting us, which are not peculiar to the State alone.” he said.
He took time to appreciate His Grace, Archbishop A. J. V. Obinna and the entire Catholic community in the state for having him in the Holy Mass.Â
Governor Uzodimma said he will serve imo state with the fear of God, calling on Imolites in general to support him in prayers to enable his administration deliver on their mandates.
